Comfort and Care Bags
Cathy and Carol have felt the need to make
blankets, scarves and hats for people that are in shelters and
hospitals. We are going to be making these items and welcome
volunteers who would like to help us. Right now we are purchasing
fleece to make tied blankets and yarn to make scarfs, hats and
afghans and quilts. We have assigned a budget for this project and
are working on them at the present time. This is a long term, year
round project for us and you can help by donating to this fund. Each
bag, blanket and teddy bear can be provided for approximately $25.00

Fundraiser
Our motorcycle event in July provides
entertainment, vendors, bike games, bike shows, biker babe contest,
tattoo contest, concerts, live and silent auctions, beer
garden,vendors, t-shirts, pins and patches to raise funds for
charity.

Mission Statement and Information
The money raised is donated to Boyer Children’s Clinic, Seattle
Children’s Hospital uncompensated care fund, Ocean Shores Food Bank,
Biker’s Fighting Cancer, North Beach PAWS, Paula’s Pillowcase Project,
Guide dogs of America, and handmade blankets to shelters and children’s
hospital called “Comfort and Care Bags”.
Sun and Surf Charity’s mission is to host a yearly weekend event (Sun
and Surf Motorcycle Run) to raise funds for the non-profits we support.
We are a group of motorcycle riders and encourage all those who ride
motorcycles or love motorcycles to take part in our annual event.
Sun and Surf Charity is a nonprofit corporation 501(c)3 organized
and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. Specifically, this
organization has been formed to provide relief to the poor, distressed
and underprivileged and to support other organizations conducting
charitable activities. Our organization has designed and developed one
(1) program in furtherance of our purposes.
The Board of
Directors will conduct the program, the directors and committee have
worked on fund raisers and volunteered for many fund raising events. We
hope to benefit 5000 people annually through our program.
